BREAD

Pain au levain hot from the oven by 4 PMish Thurs/Fri/Sat.  Our bâtard lasts well stored in a paper bag for a couple of days and freezes nicely.

Sprouted rye bakes Thurs AM, and is for sale the rest of the week.  This is a Danish style loaf to be sliced thinly and keeps in the fridge for up to a week.

BREAKFAST

Small pastry selection each morning.  Yogurt and fresh fruits, granola and muesli, bread with butter/jam/honey/cheese/maple syrup.

FRESH PRESSED JUICES

Organic juices are pressed to order: orange, grapefruit, local carrots, green veggies.  Or a citron or pamplemousse pressé: fresh juice with sparkling water.

DINNER

Oysters, grilled fish, salads, fresh bread, dessert

 

 

COFFEE AND TEA

Coffees roasted each week by Tandem in Portland, Maine.  Teas imported by Stone Leaf Tea in Middlebury.

WINE

Old world, small producer, natural wine list by sommelier Jason Jacobeit.

SWEETS

Chocolate truffles, pâtes de fruits, caramels and Vadeboncoeur nougat for your sweet tooth.  Sablés, biscotti and gingersnaps alongside your coffee.

SPECIAL ORDERS

We take some orders for pastries in larger quantities (6 / 12 / 24, depending on which pastry) and with some advanced notice; please call or email.  We cannot reserve pastries in smaller quantities.  We are happy to reserve bread in quantities of 5 or less.
